There is so much buzz about ShoeDazzle I had to see what all the hype was about. Well I’ve now been on the site for a good hour and could probably spend the afternoon!
Ok, so Kim Kardashian is a Co-founder. I am no fan of the Kardashians (at all!) but the idea that you can build your fashion profile and have a stylist who can assist with lots of fab choices makes me forget about her altogether.
ShoeDazzle started out as a monthly subscription service. You’d sign up and recieve a new pair of pumps (or wedges, or boots, or stilettos, or…) every month for a mere $39.95. They’ve scrapped the subscriptions which makes for a better experience. Now you can sign in and immediately drool over any selection of shoes, handbags and more …..MUST HAVES!
Your shopping journey starts with a 3-minute style quiz to give the stylists an idea of what you like. It was actually fun as I was anxious to see how they interpreted my answers. When I saw the results it was right on. Apparently I am Refined, Cultured and Classic (haha). I cannot say that these match my style these days but they are what I aspire to – which counts for something, right? Next I was matched to designers, colors, and textures.
Each time I log in up pops my MUST HAVES… I’ve gotten a little out of hand I know but I do like that they want me to want them. 🙂
Truth – I started out a skeptic but am now dazzled by the opportunities which will be disconcerting news to my husband but….ok! I’ll say, “Dear, don’t worry, it’s not limited to shoe buying – they have handbags and clothes as well!” This may be followed by a kersplat noise as husband faints and falls to the floor. Find mirror – check for breathing and double check my eyeliner then run to the computer for shopping fun while he’s out!
If you do get addicted or just buy a couple of things we would to hear your comments and reviews!
I just threw in the video intro for fun! Don’t throw darts at Ms. K just ignore her and think about your divine self.
