Some of my favorite flicks have come from small independent filmmakers.
While I do love a big block-buster, the heart and soul of film-making comes through when money, fame or fortune are less important than interesting ideas, fascinating characters and quirky stories.
This wonderful film is the story about an ex-circus legend struggling as a street performer in the wild west streets of Las Vegas. When his junkyard home full of stray animals gets into trouble, he and his animal buddies use all their circus tricks to save it.
The music is amazing as well – did I say that my son Jackson Wilcox worked with Eric Rickey to score this movie? So exciting!
You can see the premiere of this heart-warming tale, written and directed by Mike and Jerry Thompson of Light Forge Studios, this Sunday in Los Angeles. If you are in the area be sure to go, you won’t be disappointed!
