Traditional verde salsa (tomatillo) with fresh orange juice.
Ingredients
- 10 whole tomatillos, chopped
- 1 whole onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh Cilantro, chopped
Instructions
Servings 12
Combine everything into a food processor and pulse until desired consistency. Salt to taste.
Feel free to adjust the ingredients however you want. More jalapenos? Sounds good to me! This made a large jar that I’ve kept in my fridge for a couple of weeks, but it’s dwindling!

I love the twist of orange in this recipe. Salsa verde is the reason why I grow tomatillos every year. Beautiful choice!
