With the gift-giving holiday FAST approaching, Alessa and I thought you might need some ideas for the hard to buy for person in your life. With that in mind, I found some wonderful NC made products that may just be the ticket.
All of the items I focused on below can be purchased on line to make it so much easier for you (click on the link to each). I don’t know about you, but I love on-line shopping and 90% of my holiday purchases are made this way.
Happy gift giving!
Senora Dixie Salsa. I love that this salsa is made very close to where I live (a mere 5 or so miles away) and it would be the perfect gift for the person in your life who loves to cook (or eat)! This salsa looks fantastic and is made with all natural ingredients and no preservatives. Chips…. now… please!
MoonDance Soaps. This is a home-based business located in Wake County, NC (another wonderful business close to me). These soaps are made the old-fashioned way with something called batch saponification of vegetable oils combined with essential oils and fragrance oils, herbs, spices, goat milk and honey and doesn’t that sound like a process that makes a rich wonderful soap? Another perfect gift!
And who doesn’t love a peanut and well a pecan covered in chocolate? That sounds like a win-win present option to me. Bertie County Peanuts may just be the option for you. They have a 90-plus year history of being in the peanut business and when you visit their web site you will find all kinds of yummy options.
Now, if you have a gardener in your life this may be the just the gift for them! Heirloom bulbs from the Biltmore. They can have a little piece of the magnificent Biltmore gardens in their own yard.
Bee Global. I think this might be my favorite choice. I love buying local honey and the beeswax products that are produced from the wax and when I saw this company, I was in love. Since 1996 this working candle studio has offered some wonderful handcrafted creations. I love love love these Bee Glow lanterns. They also have ornaments and pillar candles. They are all just spectacular!
I hope some of these wonderful items are just what you are looking for this holiday season.
Coming up on Friday, Alessa will be showcasing some awesome choices from South Carolina. Don’t worry . . . . . we got y’all covered!
