Cinnmon Sugar Donut Holes

My second favorite thing after a donut is of course the donut hole.  The perfect, one mouthful bite of deliciousness!  This recipe is a basic recipe that you could easily add any flavoring to.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Combine the 1/2 cup sugar and the cinnamon in a bowl.  Set aside.  Cream together the sugar, butter and egg.  Mix in the milk until the mixture is well blended.  Add the flour and baking powder.    Spray your donut hole pan or maker with cooking spray.  Spoon batter into hole mold (approximately 2 tablespoons for each).  Bake at  350 for 12 minutes.  While still warm roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture.  Makes 36.
