DIY Moisturizing Body Wash

With the price of gas, milk, and childcare increasing I’ve been trying to find ways to cut our everyday household cost. We’ve cut back on eating out, I’m an avid coupon cutter, I shop at thrift stores, and we make our own baby food. All of this helps, but I feel there’s still more that needs to be done.

I’ve made my own, lip gloss, bath salts, and laundry detergent but I’ve never made my own body wash. I guess it never crossed my mind because my husband and I have two different skin types. He has very dry skin, which I thought it would be difficult to come up with a mixture that would be perfect for him. I made this moisturizing body wash for him and he loves it. Enjoy!

What You Need

6 Cups of Water
3 Bars of Soap Shavings (Any Fragrance or Color)
2 Tbsp. Pure Shea Butter
2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
3 Tsp. Liquid Vitamin E
