Getting a Birchbox is a little like Christmas every month. I’m like a little kid jumping up and down when the Box arrives! The October Box did not fail me – there were a few notable and wonderful things!
By far my favorite item is the Orofluido Hair Elixir! It’s a soft oil that can be used on either wet or dry hair. The amazing thing is that when using it on dry hair you may think it would leave a greasy feel but all it leaves behind is a scrumptious hint of orange and spice and a little sheen.
I am completely addicted to this! It’s a little pricey but I’ve found the Orofluido Hair Elixir 3.4 oz. on Amazon for a very good price at $21.99. This is definitely worth a try.
There were two Kusmi Teas included and I shared the Euphoria with Aubrie. It has a surprising and distinct chocolat et orange flavor and aroma (not kidding)! The Detox is a green tea with lemon grass and pleasantly fragrant as well.
As the days grow shorter and the cold wind howls it’s nice to enjoy an aromatic cuppa! We found 20 teabags for $13.99 which isn’t bad for a great tea experience. And the cute glass teapot with the infuser? It’s from AVON – only $14.99!
I don’t eat a lot of protein bars but they are a good meal supplement or snack. The Luna Lemon Zest had a nice not-too-hard crunch to it and a lemony frosting on the top. Like most protein bars there is that after taste of vitamins. However, if you are looking for some good bars the Luna brand also includes Chocolate Pecan Pie, Chai Tea and more. You can find a Luna variety pack of many unusual flavors so give it a go if you need to get your protein on! If you try please report back.
A good skin cleanser is worth the price and the Eve Lom does not disappoint. It’s a balm-like cleanser which claims to purify and tone the skin while the soft muslin cloth exfoliates. When applied the cleanser warms up a bit and feels so satiny smooth – it’s little bit of heaven. What I loved the most though was the scent of cloves, eucalyptus and cocoa butter….. very calming!
It’s only a skin cleanser I know but I felt like I was in the middle of a spa experience in my own little bathroom. This cleanser is expensive but maybe Santa will put it in your stocking. Why not ask?
