Making wire jewelry has become very popular recently. I’ve made earrings and bracelets before, but I’ve never used wire. I thought it would be a little difficult for me as a beginner.
For goodness sakes, I have to use pliers to make wire jewelry? Whose bright idea was that? Well, it was a pretty good idea.
Even though I still am a beginner I now am in love with making my own wire jewelry. Here is a tutorial on how to make a beaded wire bracelet. Enjoy!
What You Need
- Gold Jewelry Wire
- Needle Nose Pliers
- Glass Beads
- Jewelry Link Chain
- 1 Split Rings
- 1 Jewelry Closure
With your needle nose pliers, bend the wire into any design you choose. Add beads, two at a time, to the wire. Make sure you form a loop on each end of the wire design for the chain to attach.
Attach the chain to one loop on the end of the wire design. Wrap the other end of the chain around your wrist to measure the length needed for the bracelet.
Find the center of the chain and open two of the links. Attach the split ring to one open link and the jewelry closure to other open link.
Using pliers, gently close the open links.
