Bacon Wrapped Mozzarella Stuffed Mushroom

The bacon shrink wraps itself around the juicy mushroom, as the cheese oozes out and crisps up the edges, all while soaking in the bacon juices and creating their own sticky glaze!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bacon
  • 1/2 block Mozarrella Cheese
  • 1 pound Button Mushrooms

Instructions

Servings 10

  1. Remove all the mushroom stems
  2. Cut little squares of Mozzarella the size to fit inside the mushrooms, and stuff them
  3. Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap each stuffed mushroom with a slice.
  4. Bake on a sheet pan for about 30 minutes, or until the bacon is glazed and crispy!

    Ok, anything wrapped in bacon is always delicious. Anything stuffed with cheese is also delicious. But stuffing with cheese and wrapping in bacon must be heaven. This recipe sounds amazing! Thanks for the great idea.
