Tea pot aubs

“Alfred, could you please bring me some tea?” “Yes ma’am, right away.”

For as long as I can remember one of my favorite drinks has been hot tea. Everything from Chamomile or Jasmine to English or Irish Breakfast Tea. The simple pleasure of a fresh brewed cup of warmth takes me back to a much simpler time.

So imagine my surprise when I found a fantastic glass teapot with and infuser at AVON!!! This was awesome because not only could I brew whole leaf tea but I could also use regular tea bags. YAY ME!!!

Tea Pot, Tea & Tea Cups

With that part of my journey complete I now needed to find the perfect tea cup in which to experience my delightful brew. Where to begin……. enter Santa to save the day. Christmas 2012  brought me a most excellent surprise. An elegant, beautifully decorated new Tea Cup

The First

Imagine my delight and joy when I opened the package!!! I immediately brewed some hot tea of course, duh!!!  Time went by and I decided to add to both my collection of teas and my set of tea cups.  The end result you ask? Check it out….

Tea Cupss

The cups were discovered at a Boutique inside my local Salvation Army and the teas where found at a local Farmer’s Market.

Types of Tea

Oh, Alfred has just arrived with my afternoon tea, excellent!!!

….. Enjoy!!!

  1. What a great post! We love tea in the Carolinas and in fact will be doing tea related things all through the month of May. We linked up at BeBetsy too!

Big fan of tea here. So many things to collect- teapots, cups, strainers, tea balls, silver spoons, spoon rests and of course- tea! The most comforting of all drinks I think.

That teacup is really cute and I have been thinking about getting myself one because I don’t have a glass teapot. Cute teacups too. Tea time is so relaxing, isn’t it? And a lovely hobby should one take a liking to it. Thanks for sharing at my HOME and enjoy your weekend.
