Proud wife, mother of five, educator and food blogger; the founder of And Love it, Too! Sunny firmly believes that allergies and food sensitivities shouldn’t keep you from enjoying the things you love.
While Sunny has spent years tweaking recipes to help her children with dairy and shellfish allergies enjoy ‘normal’ childhood foods, it was her own diagnosis of Celiac Disease that led to the most dramatic food change of all. Removing all sources of gluten (wheat, barley and rye) not only from her diet, but also from her home proved to be the biggest challenge, but also the largest blessing for the health and well-being of her entire family.
Going gluten-free seems overwhelming at first, but it did not take long to figure out that the best foods; whole fruits, vegetables and minimally processed meats, are all naturally gluten-free. Good food that is good for you, that is what her writing is all about.
Most importantly Sunny believes that no matter the allergy, we shouldn’t just be able to have our cake and eat it, we should have our cake And Love it, Too!
